May is the month for Morphos. We are very happy to be able to offer again some of the most desirable Morphos from South America. These include MORPHO AEGA, PORTIS, VIOLACEA, DIDIUS, MORPHO EUGENIA pair. We also have some remarkable Papilio not often available. These include pairs of PAPILIO CLEOTAS, SCAMANDER, ASTYALUS ASTYALUS, PARIDES PERRHEBUS PERRHEBUS, as well as female PAPILIO HECTORIDES and males of EURYTIDES STENODESMUS, NIGRICORNIS, PROTODAMAS and a new form of EURYADES CORETHRUS with an extra row of vivid red spots on the HW verso. Also, new stock of CALIGO BELTRAO. We can still offer a few examples of the rare EURYTIDES PROTESILAUS DARIENSIS only found in the Darien area of Panama.
From the USA we have some magnificent examples of PAPILIO MULTICAUDATA, PAPILIO GLAUCUS and PALAMEDES pairs. From Madagascar, stupendous pairs of the gorgeous ANTHERINA SURAKA and ARGEMA MITTREI. The oriental region has CHARAXES ORILUS and VANESSA DEJEANI, PAPILIO PARIS FORMOSANUS, quite different from the Indonesian sub-species.
However, our largest selection includes the most desirable South American species such as MORPHO DIDIUS, increasingly difficult to get, as well as a pair of MORPHO EUGENIA and a stupendous male of PARIDES ORELLANA. Among the Nymphalidae, fresh stock of ASTEROPE DAVISI, NAPEOCLES JUCUNDA, DOXOCOPA CHERUBINA, and ADELPHA LARA, PANACEA PROLA, MEGISTANIS DEUCALION, BATESIA HYPOCHLORA, ANAEA CLYTEMNESTRA, ITYS, RYPHEA, PAPILIO TORQUATUS and THOAS, EURYTIDES LACANONES, LEUCASPIS, AGESILAUS, PHOEBIS PHILEA and RURINA, RHETUS PERIANDER etc.
